In crafting this fictional tale, I felt more like a chronicler of Liora and Lu’s biographies. My task was to faithfully recount their adventures as if documenting real-life events. The unfolding narrative of Liora and Lu mirrored my own journey of healing, revealing itself gradually. As I grappled with personal challenges, so did the protagonists, notably in the formidable “Toad Gorge” surrounding the land of Commodania, a barrier only dispelled by unwavering love. To aid Liora and Lu in vanishing the gorge within the story, I, too, had to delve deeply into the realm of unconditional love as a human.

The score for a total of eight orchestral pieces is available (total playing time approximately 50 minutes), allowing the story to be adapted both into film and for live performances such as theater, ballet, or puppetry.

At the same time, care has been taken to ensure that both the book and the music can also stand alone.

My vision was to create a sophisticated orchestral piece that is also suitable for children from the age of around 9-10. It is a heartfelt concern of mine to reintroduce young people to classical music. In doing so, I aim to challenge them acoustically, without overwhelming them.

There is much to discover about me in the following areas:
